    PRODUCT SPECIFICATION

    Product: Leeson Sandwich Running Track System.
    Thickness: Typically 10-13mm.

    SUBSTRATE REQUIREMENTS

    System typically installed on asphalt or concrete.

    Base Layer: SBR /PU4872@18%9.7kg/m2.
    Pore Sealer: PU4731 1.4kg/m2.
    Flood Coat:PU47321.5kg/m2.
    Topping:EPDM 0.5-1.5mm0.7kg/m2
    EPDM Dust0.06kg/m2

    INSTALLATION SERVICE

    The installation should be carried out by an experienced contractor, details of contractors in your area can be obtained by contacting the company. For BBA approved work, a contractor approved by the BBA for this system must carry out the installation.

    Leeson Polyurethane’s products are guaranteed against defective materials and manufacture and are sold subject to its standard Terms and Conditions of Sale, copies of which can be obtained on request.

    UV DISCOLOURATION

    Please note that rubber crumb binder products are based on MDI polyurethane technology which is subject to colour change under exposure to UV. The strength of the system is not affected.

    We have in-house UV testing facilities and can test customer’s rubber/binder combinations. We strongly urge our customers to use this service prior to using a new rubber.

    The figures below are typical properties achieved in laboratory tests at 21˚C and 55% Relative Humidity.

    Resistant to temperatures of up to 70˚C for long periods.

    CHEMICAL RESISTANCE

    To various acids, diesel and petrol as well as strong bases.

    AFTERCARE – CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

    The surface should be swept regularly to keep it free of organic material such as leaves.

    ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT

    The finished system is assessed as non-hazardous to health and the environment. The long service life and seamless surface reduce the need for repairs, maintenance and cleaning. Environmental and health considerations are controlled during manufacture of the products by Leeson Polyurethanes’ staff.
